Gain Exposure and Build Relationship with other bloggers with Blokube

AppId is over the quota
AppId is over the quota

BlokubeAs part of my weekly contribution here, I will be starting a series where I will be reviewing some great tools I think bloggers should use every once in a while. Every resource I review will be free, and will also be something I personally like and think deserves a review.

The resource I will be featuring today is Blokube, a great promotion site for bloggers that I’m honored to be a moderator of.

If you read my last blog post featuring 4 unique ways to generate traffic to a blog, you will notice my second point talks about social blogmarking sites.

The concept of social blogmarking sites is still new to most bloggers, and I’ll try to give a short description to help you understand.

I’f you’re reading this I’m sure you know sites like Digg, Reddit and Delicious. They are social bookmarking sites where people are able to submit content from other sites across the internet, and where the most voted content ends up staying on the homepage. That is exactly how social blogmarking sites work, just that a blogmarking site only accepts submission from bloggers.

Relationships: While traffic is great, ultimately, relationships is what brings about results for bloggers. Since Blokube is a website focused on bloggers only, you will have the opportunity to network with thousands of bloggers from all over the internet who might take an interest in your work. Blokube also has features that make this easy, such as a chat room, a messaging system, the ability to comment on submissions from other bloggers, and the ability to add people as friends.

Traffic: Blokube currently has over 5,000 members, most of whom are bloggers. By submitting your content to Blokube you will be able to get your content in front of other bloggers, and as a result get more traffic to your blog.

Links: Links submitted to Blokube are also indexed quickly by the search engines, and since those links are directed back to your blog you will be benefiting a link boost by submitting your content to Blokube. It can be difficult to get links online, so it is important to make the best of every link opportunity you have.

I have been using Blokube since it launched, and I have noticed what works. Below are some things you can do to get the best from Blokube.

Use the Right Titles: When you’re submitting your site to any form of social media/community site the best way to ensure your content stand out is by using the right titles. You need to realize that there are thousands of other bloggers looking to get exposure for their content, so the best way to stand out is to have a title that clicks!

Engage: One thing I have learned about marketing is that if you’re in a competitive environment the best way to get results is to get noticed, and online, one of the best ways to get noticed is by engaging. By commenting on submission from other bloggers, by adding other bloggers as friends and chatting with them occasionally, by voting interesting content you discover in the community, you will be able the chances of your articles getting more votes, and as a result leading to more traffic for your blog.

How to Build Trust by Association

This guest post is by David Edwards www.asittingduck.com's.

When I started my site I had no idea about animation, illustration, or online marketing. It is nearly three years ago that the site went live, so by now I might have started University again (I quit in the first semester at the age of 20 years) and have an official qualification in one of these fields.

Let's say I did, and today I started with my website. I would still trust getting success by Association? Yes! The good news is, if you haven't got a degree and you want to run a successful website, there is nothing stopping you!

Even to this day people are intrigued to know how I managed to convince a small team of animators believe me to build a viral series around a few doodles I did on the back of a House Bill. This is how I did it, and how you can do something similar in your own niche.

From my entire high school years, as far as I know was the only pupil to leave and start a business partner of mine, Matthew Adams, who started Webfactore. That was the first rung on the ladder to success — a nice discount on the website!

Then I used the Facebook search box to hunt down an animator in Cardiff. Why animation? I drawing and I was fascinated by a viral animation from America called "Charlie the Unicorn." I thought it was amazing that a man and a few mates managed to millions of people to their cartoon — it is even the subject of a question about "Danger"!

Luke Hyde was the first animator that I found and he was glad to meet me. It was luck, really, if he was the first person I asked, and at the time that he had no contracts that must be worked. You can get lucky, but if you do not, continue to look for someone!

By Luke I tapped in a creative world I never been a part of.

I have always doodled and outlined — it used to help pass the time away when I worked in a job telesales. But I never knew that the people actually made money out of it. By Luke I met Flash animators, illustrators, sound technicians ... the list goes on!

When you start building an online business can feel the overwhelming and you tend to think that everyone seems to be more resourceful than you, and if you're an avid reader and the blogger, well, believe it or not, that is a very powerful skill to have, and you can trade that skill with other people to get what you need.

Even if you have patience and it shows you're not only going to sap one's sources and run, you'll have the chance to win the respect of the person and his or her circle of friends.

If you have a bit of success through Association get, keep going. I cemented links in the creative industry, than my sights on the marketing industry. Why? Because these guys are crushing, it exists when it comes to work ethic and connections. Five top affiliate marketers can reach out to tens of thousands of potential customers!

I did some more searching and eventually found Alex Jeffreys, who is well know in the affiliate marketing world, have several successful coaching programs launched. I talked to Alex on the phone and he was happy to help me. I have also attended his seminar in London, which is a great opportunity to meet other marketers, and Alex meet in person.

Alex has taught me some important points to quickly grow my online presence. Here are some of his tips:

Leverage of each stage you're at: If you are five people that you help online, that does not need
only five people! It would be 500 people, if each person a social network has 100 friends. For example, if your friends are with me on YouTube, and I found your video, I have 10,000 friends to share with. That is very powerful leverage! Not the market in the world: Alex has a very profitable company looking after his confirmed subscribers built. He very rarely reached out to the masses on Twitter or Facebook, as many of its subscribers the do for him.Consistently adding value: you should look at email a useful content once per month and build confidence. Go from a blog post, to an audio podcast, a video. Once people have a range of content more than six months or so, you will absolutely love them!

Many bloggers and website owners try to create and launch of products. There is a huge market and there are hungry buyers, but from my experience, you need a lot more focus on networks and connect with successful people, rather than locking yourself in a room until your ebook is complete.

Once you have established yourself with people in your niche and then interact with your prospects, you will have a much better idea of how loud your cash register ring goes!

Have you tried to connect with other website owners face to face? I would love to read your stories.

5 ways that I'm using LinkedIn to Drive traffic, Build community, generate sales and Build influence

Not a day goes by when we don't see Twitter and Facebook as being talked about as an essential social networks for bloggers to invest time in – but in the past few months I invest a little extra time in another social network – a that I wonder if some have forgotten about a little-LinkedIn.

I've long had a LinkedIn Account (I'd love to come with you) but I don't really know what to do with it for a long time-but the last time I'm seeing more and more opportunities in the network. Let me quickly to name a few:

LinkedIn CompaniesIn the last week I set ProBlogger as a ' Company ' on LinkedIn. I always knew that you could do this but didn't see the point, that was until I saw that you also read your company's products can add on LinkedIn. I now have all of the ProBlogger eBooks (and the hard cover ProBlogger book) as products on Linked In.

The cool thing about it is that you also recommendations for those products from your LinkedIn network that helps to build social proof can search for your products. For example, check out the ' 31 days to build a better Blog "recommendations in all.

Start a ' group ' on your blog topic-it can open up opportunity for you to be a leader and authority in the niche and offers some interesting networking opportunities (join the group from ProBlogger here).

LinkedIn TodayI'm still in the process of exploring this more but LinkedIn today that most news from around LinkedIn (and Twitter) aggregates recently have set up. It breaks it into categories and let those who share the view and save what they are reading. I been using LinkedIn today as something of a news reader last time but today when TechCrunch announced that LinkedIn have become their 2nd largest source of social media traffic (bigger than Twitter) it struck me that there are opportunities for publishers to generate traffic from it. Get merged involves putting a LinkedIn Share button on your site and you'll probably have to be on any topic that is relevant – but it would be worth exploring (more details on how to do this here).

One of my most successful experiments on LinkedIn has been in identifying people to write guest posts for my photography site. The search features on LinkedIn help you to hunt down people on topics of expertise and to send e-mails-I've gone on hunts for a variety of photographers in the past few months and they sent messages to see if they are writing a guest post for me (or are considering would be to consider interviewed) and it has given me some great posts landed.

Finally, there is the common status update function that most of us familiar with – similar to Facebook and Twitter. There are all kinds of possibilities here to share links to your posts, to share links to other sites, questions to ask and generate discussion etc.

Just as I was about to hit publish on this post I noticed that Lewis Howes (Lord LinkedIN) has a special running his fantastic product – LinkedInfluence at $ 97 for his 4 Module series on how to use LinkedIn effectively education.

If you're looking to increase your LinkedIn features I would like Lewis and his teachings to you recommend.
