Filtering software blocks your blog on computers of the Government is accessed.
When I first time my blog online, I discovered that my friends at the local military base were prevented from viewing the filter service, by the Government Blue Coat.
If none of my posts a questionable content contained, I was interested to find out why my blog was blocked. More importantly, because there are literally millions of federal employees worldwide, I wanted to blog was seen by this public.

Blue Coat looks just like one of the more popular services used by the Department of Defense (DoD) and other government agencies.Note the information provided is also a way to bypass the filtering service. The method used is perfectly legal, and I worked through the Blue Coat to get resolved.
When my friends on the military base tried access my blog, a very official-looking page popped up with the post, ' access denied '. Further down the page explained that my site was blocked as his "Web filter category" was classified as "Blogs/Personal Pages."
The page also included specific information about the contact of the Blue Coat Web page Review Site if there are no problems. Http://sitereview.bluecoat.com/sitereview.jsp that link is:
Clicking on the link took me to a simple form that allowed me to my URL to see how my blog was categorized. I came across my site name, and clicked check Rating. Sure enough, my site was classified as Blogs/Personal Pages, and so was blocked by the DoD computers.
In addition to seeing your site category, also a form that provides the review page you can use to easily request a review of your site. This is how you go about getting it.
There were several dozens of categories to choose from a drop-down menu, and I was initially unsure which to choose. Blue Coat, however, you can view the name of a site, so I looked a few blogs I after me, to see how they were classified pattern.
Some of these were classified as a reference, so I decided to use this category. I also checked with my friends on the military base that the sites using this classification can be opened. They are verified this, so I was good to go.
I selected "Reference" from the drop-down menu, and don't bother with the optional second category. In the comments I wrote:
www.morebettersmarts.com has the stated mission of "the provision of practical wisdom." can improve your life and work, at home and play the site offers articles on health and fitness, public speaking, life hacks, and productivity. The site is currently included as Blogs/Personal Pages, but must be classified as reference. Thank you for your review.
Then I clicked the box questions the results are to be transmitted me via email, Blue Coat ProxySG selected as the submit for Review-filter service, the button clicked and my fingers crossed.
The actual review process took only a few hours, and I got an email stating that my site was now classified as reference. However, it took about 24-48 hours for the servers of the Government to catch up with this change. After that, my blog was made available several million federal employees. Now only if it would be viewed by different million federal employees, I could probably blog full-time…
Of course, your site could fall under one of the many other classifications also regularly blocked by filtering software. For example, if your site is categorized as political or Entertainment, it will probably continue to be blocked, so you're probably out of luck.
In addition, decide that a note that will teach you about the Blue Coat site is the filter service is not what sites are filtered. It is up to the agency or company to make this determination. For example, if the Federal Government allow websites classified as Blogs/Personal Pages would not have been a problem, wanted to there.
If you're new to blogging, there's a good chance that your site is classified as a blog by this filter services. Hopefully this quick and legal correction open your site to a new great source of traffic.
